Jens Hoffmann is a German director, writer and director of photography. His filmmaking career started in the early 90s while studying Journalism in Munich.
The international awarded director, also nominated for the prestigious German Camera Award as „Best Cinematography“ for his last documentary faces his vision on great but also unexplored stories.
Hoffmann has received multiple awards for his work on advertising and corporate movies for highly esteemed companies like Siemens, Audi, Völkl and organizations such as the Football Association FIFA, Brazilian Football Federation CBF, International Olympic Committee and the World Ski Association FIS as well as the TV channels BBC, 13th Street, RTL, etc.
After the multiple international awarded documentaries of a BASE-Jumper in “20 Seconds of Joy”; „Journey to the Center“ filmed in China and „9to5“, Hoffmann has achieved international recognition around the globe. This led him to many invitations to various important international film festivals as well as guest speaker to many film workshops, film schools and TV debates.
Due to his unique action directing skills and camera work, Hoffmann was soon taking part in bigger international productions. He directed and did action camera work for the Hollywood comedy „Chalet Girl“, filming with Brooke Shields, Bill Nighty, Ed Westwick, Felicita Jones, Ken Duke, etc.
This year he took over the 2nd unit as a director/ DoP and cameraman for the £ 4 million TV fictional drama about „Ian Fleming“, the creator of James Bond and was responsible for all the stunts and action filming of the agent 007. A co-production between BBC America and Sky Atlantic starring the British actor Dominic Cooper as Ian Fleming.
Hoffmann uses now his experiences for over 20 years in the film industry and his exceptional access to the power brokers of the football industry in Europe and in South America to make a touching documentary about the people behind the most watched sport worldwide.
Cleo Comino was born in Sao Paulo, grew up in Mato Grosso, a state located in the Central-Western part of the country.
She has been the head producer of F24 Film for more than a decade now, producing numerous successful campaigns, sport films and documentaries from the snowy mountains in Alaska to the remote deserts in Africa. From the glaciers in Europe to the Amazon Rainforest.
Between 2003 and 2007 she also worked for Infront Sports & Media, which handled the global distribution of all broadcasting rights for the 2002 and 2006 FIFA World Cup.
